Mason Greenwood has made a striking return to the football scene in his first training session with Getafe, proving he’s still a top-class attacker despite an 18-month hiatus from the game.

The English forward’s move to Getafe came after his departure from his childhood club, Manchester United, following an internal investigation related to an assault charge in England.

According to Sport Bible, Greenwood expressed his joy at returning to the football field with Getafe, and he certainly showcased his sharpness and technical prowess during training. In one of the club’s shooting drills, he impressively scored with both feet.

During his second strike, Greenwood caught the attention of Getafe fans present as he skillfully maneuvered the ball to his preferred left foot before driving a precise low shot into the bottom corner of the net.

Greenwood might make his debut for Getafe right after the international break, with a likely appearance for Jose Bordalas’s team against Osasuna on September 17.

Getafe supporters are already showering Mason Greenwood with love. Fans turned up to watch the English forward in his inaugural training session with the La Liga club, as reported by Talk Sport.
