Mohammed Kudus to West Ham is almost a done deal

West Ham is nearing an agreement to sign Mohammed Kudus for around £38 million, as per information from talkSPORT.

The team, led by David Moyes, has been keen on the Ajax player this summer, having secured £105 million from Declan Rice’s transfer.

Despite two previous bids being turned down by Ajax, it seems there has been progress in negotiations for the 23-year-old.

A deal for £38 million is close to being settled, and Kudus is open to joining West Ham.

Brighton, a fellow Premier League team, had earlier agreed to a £34.5 million deal but withdrew from the competition.

Although Ajax initially set a £40 million price, it appears West Ham will secure Kudus for slightly less.

If the deal is finalized, the Ghanaian player will leave Ajax after three seasons.

During his time there, he played 86 matches in various competitions, scoring 24 goals and assisting in 12.

His best season was the previous one, with 18 goals and seven assists.

Kudus would be West Ham’s fourth summer signing, following Edson Alvarez, James Ward-Prowse, and Konstantinos Mavropanos.

Alvarez was his former co-star at Ajax, while Ward-Prowse made an impressive debut with two assists against Chelsea.

Mavropanos, a former Arsenal defender, is the most recent addition to the London Stadium team, having joined from Bundesliga side Stuttgart.
