“74? No, I’m even faster than Mbappe”- Joseph Paintsil disagrees with his FC 24 rating

Ghanaian footballer Joseph Paintsil wasn’t too pleased with his rating of 75 on the new FC 24 video game by EA Sports.

He couldn’t understand why his rating was so low and even jokingly compared his speed to that of PSG’s Kylian Mbappe.

The game, which was formerly known as FIFA, had its name changed after EA Sports’ partnership with FIFA ended.

In this new game, players are rated in six categories: pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending, and physical attributes.

Paintsil received his FC 24 card after a training session with Genk and expressed his disappointment with his overall rating of 75. He questioned the rating, saying, “What is this? Oh, come on, man.

How can you do this? You give me 75, bro. Maybe I’m faster than Mbappe?” The winger seemed genuinely unhappy with his rating and added, “No, I’m not happy.

Even the goalkeeper has a 76 rating. I thought maybe I’d just take a picture with my friends, but it’s not possible anymore. I think I need to hide it.”

Paintsil is not the only Ghanaian player to be unhappy with his FC 24 rating; Jordan Ayew also expressed his discontent with his rating in the game.

The ratings for Crystal Palace players were revealed when they received their cards. Eberechi Eze had the highest rating at 79, followed by Joachim Andersen, Cheick Doucouré, Marc Guéhi, and Michael Olise, all with overall ratings of 78.

Ayew found himself with an overall rating of 74, the same as teammates Will Hughes and Chris Richards.

Reacting to his rating, Ayew was somewhat playful but still disappointed, saying, “What? No, 74, no chance. Nah nah nah, I’m not having it anymore.

How can I be the same as Hughesy [Will Hughes] and Chris Richards, nah. I’m not having it, I’m not having it.” Ayew playfully protested his rating but clearly felt he deserved a higher one.

In summary, Ghanaian footballers Joseph Paintsil and Jordan Ayew were not satisfied with their ratings in the new FC 24 video game by EA Sports.

Paintsil questioned his overall rating of 75 and jokingly compared himself to Kylian Mbappe, while Ayew expressed his dissatisfaction with his rating of 74, feeling he deserved a higher one.
